Bertie Relocated

Quite a big update here - everything from Bertie is being removed from the forum and given it's own section here:
http://www.dedicatedtv.net/downloads/

The purpose of this is to keep things simple, downloads in 1 place, discussion in another. Bertie makes up a big part of this site, so he deserves his own room.

I'm not finished coding yet, but when it's all done the new layout will be much easier for you to get straight to the downloads. Things such as your favourites list will also take on a bigger role in the downloads section.

Existing posts from Bertie in the forums will remain, but there will be no new ones in the forums - you will need to use the new section and/or the homepage.

The "TV Show Downloads" forum here will be reduced in size, but will exist for you guys to post your own links in; alternatively you can post your links in the new downloads section as a reply to one of berties posts.

I know this is a big change, and it's rather sudden, but im confident you will all adapt quickly and see that the new layout is better.

I just re-read the first post and edited this post to reflect that....

I think having the show discussions mixed with the downloads would be most effective in the long run because the downloads get a lot of traffic. I would just sticky the discussion forum to the top of the thread.

You basically answered your own question Lots of people come here just for Bertie, therefore he gets his own section where it is just him and his downloads. Straight to the point.

It'll make it more difficult for me to get other links when Bertie's links are dead for whatever reason. (and... hopefully it doesn't discourage others from posting alternative links...?)

thought on this, Benny? Maybe a link to the 'leverage forum' on the leverage downloads page might suffice to help this?

edit: reinforced by the first ep i try and download - heroes s04e15 - bertie's links dead - have to go search the depths of the heroes s04 forum to find working links.

Like i said somewhere, Im not finished. I am already half way with that section, there will be a button yoiu can click which takes you to the forum search page for that show. Let me finish it before you get too into complaining

Is Bertie meant to link to the current topic/download in the "Related Downloads" section? He does and it doesn't seem very productive. E.g. glee-s01e13-sectionals-hdtv-xvid-fqm-t35602.html

Uploaders team called "Bertie" had 96 % downloads on this board - till now . Now they have 99 % downloads .

Come on people ! Give us ( other uploaders ) even scraps !

Replacing shortcuts to forum with Bertie's download section is very bad idea . I'm bitterly disappointed in your

site now . I don't like it . I have only a few posts in the most popular threads . Adding links to new episodes is

waste of my time and bandwich now .

Or close down the forum . Now users can't find it without GPS . So it doesn't matter forum exist or not .

We never asked for people to post their own links, the main point of this site was always Bertie... And maybe read some fucking posts, I said there would be links to the forum to get people to use other links too. God damnit.
