New Stargate Universe TrailerMarch 14th, 2010 - YoshiKart64While the show has already been renewed for a second season, we’re all still waiting for the final 10 episodes of Season 1. The show returns April 2nd (interrupting the first season of Caprica by the way – I’d much prefer them to show whole season’s of shows instead); here’s a trailer of what’s to come.
Fringe renewedMarch 6th, 2010 - YoshiKart64Not really much to say here other than the obvious. Fox has renewed Fringe for a 3rd season backing up their claims of supporting the show despite it’s falling ratings. Of course those falling ratings have more to do with it’s new competitive timeslot on a thursday, where it goes up against CSI and Grey’s Anatomy, than the quality of the show. But fans will be pleased to hear that the show will continue and Fox hasn’t pulled another Firefly or Terminator on us.
Game of Thrones series orderedMarch 2nd, 2010 - YoshiKart64HBO have ordered the Game of Thrones Book-TV adaptation to series. The cable network previously shot the pilot last year and with additional scripts ordered it looked likely the project was going to go ahead; official confirmation is always nice though. The TV show will be based on the first book (and presumably the rest) in a 7 long series of fantasy novels. Apparently the series is the number 1 rated fantasy series at the Internet Book List, but that means nothing to me.
Downtime, my archnemesisFebruary 11th, 2010 - bennelsworthDowntime REALLY annoys me, wether its 2 seconds or 3 minutes, i hate it. Within the past 2 weeks, DTV has been experiencing such downtime, and im going crazy over it. It has been caused by 3rd party systems, outside of my control, which makes it even annoying! Technical bit: our servers are all running fine, but the routers linking our servers to the internet are whats fucking up. I am trying my best to get a more reliable system in place, but with little time in my day left to do it, it’s taking longer than I would like. I’m hoping everyone can have a bit of patience while DTV continues through these rough times, and that if you find you can’t access our site then please do not panic! Downtime doesn’t seem to last more than 10 minutes, the few times it happens, just make yourself some tea and come back to try again. Again, I’m sorry for the disruptions, it’s a pain in the ass for everyone, but I am working to get it resolved ASAP.

Sorry for the lack of lovely pictures but with imgupload down there’s no easy way for me to add them quickly, hopefully we’ll have a solution soon.
